The Bay State has tremendous solar potential, and solar is on the rise—since 2008, solar power in the commonwealth has increased 24-fold. We believe Massachusetts can get 10 percent of our energy from the sun by 2030. That's why we launched a grassroots campaign to help the state go solar. And in 2012, thanks in large part to our efforts, the Massachusetts state Senate voted to expand the state's most successful solar program. Now, we're making sure the House does the same—ensuring that solar will continue to grow here in Massachusetts.
