Ask your state representative to protect our open space
From the sweeping hills of the Berkshires, to the
pine forests and sandy beaches of Cape Cod, to the Emerald Necklace of parks
and green spaces in Boston, these places give Massachusetts its unique
character. Unfortunately, out of control development is permanently altering
our state. We must put the brakes on this runaway development. A good place to
start is the Open Space bill (SD 892), which would set strict criteria before
public lands are sold or leased to private bidders.
